North American Property

Our highly experienced team of North American property experts is based in Munich.  We specialise in arranging insurance or reinsurance solutions for both industrial and non-industrial risks.

Our target clients are US or Canadian domiciled with a number of locations within the United States or Canada and the rest of the world.  We believe that well risk-managed companies and those willing to take large self-insured retentions should receive the appropriate recognition for this approach.

We arrange covers on a traditional quota share or excess of loss basis and also work with our clients to create tailor-made solutions where the need arises.  Covers can be aranged on a direct co-insurance basis for and on behalf of Great Lakes UK or another acceptable fronting company or as reinsurance of a captive or mutual.

We are able to arrange property and business interruption cover on an all risks basis, including catastrophe perils, boiler and machinery and inland marine exposures.  Some of our target customer groups include:
