The Energy Team is based in Munich.  We actively seek large, quality, risk-managed companies.  This focused approach lends itself to our underlying philosophy of developing a truly worldwide portfolio across our business sectors, whilst maintaining our position in the specialised Energy market.

The advantage of having a worldwide portfolio allows us to 'benchmark' risks not only on a global basis but within the specific fields of operation, be that Oil and Gas, Chemical, Mining or Utility.  This, along with our breadth and depth of experience, also allows us to offer a full range of 'all risks' operational and EAR/CAR covers.

Our objective is to offer meaningful capacity and tailor this to our clients' specific needs whilst taking into account the nature of the exposure.  Overall, we aim to meet our clients' needs and transfer the potential for a catastrophic event.

Our in-depth experience and expertise allow us to take risks from construction through to operation and offer an integrated risk transfer approach.  This is supported by risk inspections and further enhanced when deemed necessary, by the use of external industry specialists and internal experts from the Munich Re Group.

In essence the ability of our experienced experts to tailor products to suit individual clients' needs along with active risk management are key elements in the continuing growth and reputation of the MARP Energy Team within the worldwide Energy market.
